GM and Unifor sign deal to transform Ingersoll plant for the future
After announcing that they were going to restart the assembly line in Oshawa by 2022, General Motors is now announcing another major investment in Ontario’s auto sector. The company announced late Friday that they would invest $1 billion at their Ingersoll plant and add a new electric vehicle to the mix.

Ottawa police Const. Eric Post pleads guilty to assaulting four women, uttering threats
An Ottawa police constable charged with the most crimes ever laid against an Ottawa officer pleaded guilty Thursday to just five of the 32 criminal charges he was originally charged with — four counts of assault against four different women and one count of uttering threats.
